I am writing this to let pet owners that have a disabled or injured pet not to give up hope. I have a beautiful little Chihuahua named Tetsey. She is 2 pounds and thanks to your web site, I found Doggone Wheels. I ordered my little girl a quad chair due to not being able to walk and we still don’t know why. This in turn prompted another web site that referred me to a wonderful vet in Williamsburg, VA. who does holistic medicine or alternative medicine. Her name is Dr. Lessinger. Between the chair and Dr. Lessinger, and swimmimg, my little girl is now walking. We ordered a life vest from Handicapped Pets so she could swim everyday. This was the advice of Dr. Lessinger. So to all of you that may need another avenue to try, please don’t give up. Tetsey can’t run but she is able to go out for walks, eat normally and do most everything everyone else does. She has just started trying to stand on her back legs with help. Thank you Handicapped Pets for truly helping when we thought there was none! My home vet is amazed at her progress. He thought she would never walk. Thank you again and keep helping our little four (or sometimes 3) legged campanions!
